Born in 1974 in Jerusalem, in Israel, she lives and works in Israel.
Also lecturer at the Multidisciplinary Art Faculty, Shenkar College for Engineering and Design, Ramat-Gan, Attoun’s unique works commonly initiate from drawing, projecting into space and evolving into immersive installations that involve murals, drawings, prints, sculptures, readymades and sound art. In her work, she approaches a nexus of themes related to cultural history, modernity and the intersections of myth, narrative and science. Seeking to initiate an expanding dialogue, Attoun often collaborates with other artists in the domains of sound, video and text.
Attoun graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where she achieved her BFA (1997) and MFA (2006). She has been exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions both in Israel and abroad.
