Amir Nave

Born in Beer-Sheva, Israel in 1974, he is a self-taught artist who developed his own artistic language by combining provocative texts with expressive lines.

In his paintings, drawings and installations, Nave deals with questions regarding time, space, boundaries, seclusion, power relationships between people and within a person. Investigating these questions has lead him to the pain of consciousness, which is the main framework and leitmotif of his work.
Nave’s abstract art initiates from destruction and void, leading to the construction of a new reality in which figures and images use as allegories for the decline of human society in contemporary times.

Nave currently lives and works between Paris and Tel-Aviv and exhibits worldwide.
