Adee Ardon (b. 1991, Dallas, Texas) is an artist based in Tel Aviv. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design from Shenkar (2017), majoring in Illustration. Ardon specializes in oil pastels, a medium that allows her to work freely and intuitively. The physicality of the oil sticks and the difficulty to go into small details add a sense of movement and emotion to her work. Her style focuses on reinterpreting everyday scenes with vibrant colors and unique perspectives, encouraging viewers to see the beauty in the ordinary. Ardon has exhibited in numerous shows in Israel and abroad, including the Fresh Paint Art Fair (2021, 2023) and group exhibitions at the Nasima Landau Gallery for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv (Spectrum of Lights, 2023). In 2023, she was awarded the Paper Collective prize by Tollman’s as part of the Fresh Paint Art Fair.
